Camp Grizzly, NorCal Camp Grizzly has activities to provide every camper with challenge and achievement. They accept children between age 7 and 15 who are:
Deaf or hard of hearing.
Hearing but has deaf or hard of hearing parents.
Hearing but has deaf or hard of hearing siblings. Camp Jack Hazzard Camp Jack Hazard is proud to be an accredited camp through the American Camping Association's (ACA) standards committee. The ACA is proud to maintain the highest standards of safety and program quality for it's accredited camps, to ensure parents are providing their children with the best possible camp experience. Camp Taylor Camp Taylor offers programs for young people and families of children with heart disease. Their flagship program is a medically supervised free youth and teen residential summer camp held in both California and Hawaii. They serve hundreds of children from across the United States each year. Children's Crisis Center of Stanislaus County It is the mission of the Children’s Crisis Center to provide child abuse prevention, intervention and shelter services to the abused, neglected and high risk children in Stanislaus County. Color the Skies, Children's Hospital Central CA Color The Skies is a nonprofit organization that holds a 2-day benefit during Labor Day Weekend in Ripon every year. Festivities include hot air balloons and tethered rides. D.A.R.E. This year millions of school children around the world will benefit from D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education), the highly acclaimed program that gives kids the skills they need to avoid involvement in drugs, gangs, and violence. Education Foundation of Stanislaus County The Mission of the Education Foundation of Stanislaus County is to link businesses, individuals, and civic organizations with public schools to support student programs which enhance self-esteem, achieve academic excellence, promote teamwork and good citizenship, and increase community support for public education. Kids Works Puppet Theatre Kids Works provides health and safety information to youth using life-sized puppets to convey important messages in a way that students understand. The presentations are designed to heighten awareness by diffusing the myths and stereotypes surrounding disabilities, social issues, and individual differences. Modesto Community Concert Association The purpose of Community Concerts is to bring audiences and artists together. Every individual should have the opportunity to experience the best in live performing arts. Royal Family Kid's Camp Royal Family Kids' Camp Modesto began in 2006 with the goal of reaching out to young children, 7 to 11 years of age, who have been victims of abuse and neglect, and providing them with a week of fun-filled activities that will give them many happy memories. Sierra vista Children's Center Their mission is to assist children, youth, and adults by empowering and supporting them in becoming stronger and healthier individuals, families and communities. Townsend Opera Players Townsend Opera presents three major operatic productions annually. Low-income and underserved school children from Modesto City Schools and school districts around Stanislaus County are given the opportunity to attend the dress rehearsal of each production at a dramatically reduced cost.
